Oregon Clay Track and Field

On March 21st freshman Jason Domagala competed at the 2026 Adidas High School Indoor National Championships. Jason qualified in the 60 meter run where he set a Personal Record of 7.72 seconds and long jump where he finished 17th out of 30 competitors. Congratulations Jason!

Clay HS was represented by two senior team members at the 2026 Adidas High School Indoor National Championships, on Saturday, March 21st. Brody Csizmar Qualified in the 400 meter run and Tanner Reindel qualified in the 800 meter run. Congratulations to two of our senior leaders.

An update from the Division 2 indoor state championships. Congratulations to Logan Davis for finishing 13th out of 20 in pole vault and Barack James for earning all state with a 4th place finish!

Barack James competed at the New Balance Nationals on June 21, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pa. While competing, Barack made finals and set a new PR with a time of 14.62 to place 5th in the freshman 100mh! What a huge accomplishment, Barack! Keep up the great work! 🦅

Congratulations to Makenna Langford for placing 6th yesterday in the regional finals for the 300mh with a time of 44.68!

Congratulations to the 4x200 team of Paige Kidd, Makenna Langford, Jaelyn Rowe, and Olivia Muir for placing 5th at the regional finals and breaking their own school record with a time of 1:43.44!

Congratulations to Ben Roberts for placing 4th today in the 1600m with a time of 4:17.71 at the regional finals! Ben will continue his season in Columbus next week at the state meet!

Congratulations to Derek Harmer for placing 8th today at the regional finals in high jump with a jump of 6’ 2”!

Congratulations to our very own, Emma Martin for qualifying for the state track and field meet after placing second today in the high jump. Emma jumped 5’ 3” today and will be back in action next week in Columbus! 🦅

The following Clay High School athletes placed top four in the district meet hosted at Clay last week and advanced to the regional meet this Wednesday/Friday. The regional meet is hosted at Port Clinton High School and will start at 4pm Wednesday (5/28).
