Crypto Week — what a week! 🇰🇾 🏝️ As Chair of @CIBlockchain Islands, it’s been genuinely amazing to see the very first Cayman Crypto Week come to life — and to welcome so many international leaders, builders, founders, investors, and partners to Cayman.

One of the best parts? Seeing so many familiar faces that I’m usually only able to connect with over Zoom… in real life. 🤝💬 There’s something special about finally having those conversations in person — and it made the week even more meaningful.

just wrapped up at Cayman crypto week and here are my takeaways: if you want to be in the centre of the action and hear what big players are looking towards this conference is for you What Institutions and VCs are looking for in projects in one word: Utility. Most agreed that everything happening recently has been a much needed shakeout and with that both projects and investors will be choosing projects more wisely. A lot of time went towards discussing tokenization and and the intersection of web3 and tradfi: what I got from these talks: ANYTHING THAT MAKES SENSE TO TOKENIZE WILL BE TOKENIZED ETFs atm aren't selling the way anyone anticipated, that being said DATs are still caught up in this predicament. A solution many are looking towards: tokenized funds. In what sense: Institutions with diversified holdings across crypto are looking to tokenize their funds and bring them to retail. and lots of regulation stuff but i wont bore you guys with that. (actually one guy here said he used to email w satoshi??!!?? and another that works in defi insurance said that trump called one of the top dapps and essentially forced them to incorporate in delaware instead of BVI - anyways cool stories, cool people 10/10 reccomend)
