The National Skill Competency Test (NSCT) was successfully held on 4–5 April, marking a significant step toward bridging the industry–academia skill gap in computing education. Organized under a structured consultative process led by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan in collaboration with the Ministry Of IT & Telecom and Telecommunication Pakistan, Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the test was based on industry-endorsed competency areas finalized through a dedicated Technical Committee, which included representation from industry, academia, and accreditation bodies.
