I’ll always prefer Romero over Bastoni, especially with that ridiculous €70M price tag on Bastoni 😭 If Bastoni is worth that much, then Romero should be €120M minimum. The only thing hurting Romero’s perception is playing for Tottenham. Romero is the more complete defender for me more aggressive, better in duels, stronger in 1v1 defending, and he thrives in chaos instead of hiding from it. He defends like a leader, not just a system player. Bastoni is elegant on the ball and excellent in buildup, no doubt, but when it comes to pure defending, intensity, and mentality in big battles, I’m taking Romero every single time. Bring me this beast 🤲🏻
