Pandering to men because they’re your biggest audience is pure performative activism. You can’t preach preserving Igbo culture while ignoring or downplaying the misogyny Igbo women face and still expect support from these women.

Its Kemi Badenoch she used as example🤣😂 She’s talking about the CONSERVATIVE LEADER who is there cos CONSERVATIVE Englishmen considered her English enough to be in an office meant to protect their culture simply cos she embraced the culture through marriage and practice🤣😂🤣

Nelo@NelOsuji

With all the English Kemi Badenoch is speaking in the British parliament, no English man has declared her more English than their women. If it’s not inferiority complex, why are you so excited that a white woman you are married to can speak your language? Mind you the man can also speak the woman’s language but no one is celebrating that !

TROOPS DISMANTLE IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLD, RECOVER SUSPECTED REMAINS OF SLAIN PERSONNEL IN IMO STATE The Nigerian Army has recorded another significant operational success in its sustained efforts to rid the South East of criminal elements, as troops of 82 Division, in conjunction with sister services and other security agencies, successfully dismantled a notorious camp belonging to the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed affiliate, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), in Imo State. Acting on intelligence information, the operation, conducted on 24 April 2026 along the Ubaha Orsu axis of Orsu Local Government Area, was part of a deliberate clearance and search mission aimed at dismantling IPOB/ESN hideout within the region and locating the remains of two personnel of the Nigerian Army, Master Warrant Officer Linus Musa Audu and Private Gloria Mathew, who were brutally abducted and murdered by IPOB/ESN terrorists in May 2022 while en route for their traditional wedding. Acting on credible intelligence, troops advanced towards a suspected IPOB/ESN hideout when they came under heavy attack by armed criminals. Demonstrating resilience, the troops decisively engaged the terrorists, successfully repelling multiple ambushes and forcing the criminals to flee in disarray. The encounter further exposed the desperation and criminal nature of the group, which continues to target innocent citizens and security personnel alike. Following the successful clearance of the camp, troops conducted a thorough search of the area and made a grim but important discovery shallow graves suspected to contain the remains of the slain personnel. The graves were carefully excavated and suspected remains were recovered. The recovered remains have since been secured for detailed forensic analysis, including DNA testing, to conclusively establish their identities. Efforts are also ongoing to liaise with the families of the fallen personnel to ensure proper identification and facilitate befitting burial arrangements in honour of their sacrifice. This operation not only underscores the Nigerian Army’s unwavering commitment to ensuring justice for fallen heroes but also highlights the continued degradation of IPOB/ESN criminal networks and infrastructure across the South East. The discovery of shallow graves within their camp further exposes the group’s heinous atrocities and disregard for human life. The Nigerian Army reassures the general public that ongoing operations will continue until all criminal elements are neutralised and lasting peace is restored across the region. We appreciate the Law-abiding citizens for the information and urge you remain vigilant and continue to support security agencies with timely and credible information. The Nigerian Army remains resolute, professional and committed to defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nigeria.

Lol look at this weirdo. He changed his thumbnail and captioned it "VIDEO BACK UP?!" to dupe people into thinking it's my video that got put back up. This man got rhetorically dominated, intellectually manhandled, and worst of all - his ego got shattered.

I visited Eni Njoku hostel in UNN. What I saw broke my heart so deeply. Blind students live in these rooms I just walked pass. Look at their frontage as well. They also share the same terrible toilets and bathrooms like other students. This can’t continue anymore.

People who weren’t present at that space and are only reading this submission would assume she was silenced or denied the opportunity to speak. That’s far from what actually happened. Lotanna had more speaking time than anyone else last night. In fact, the number of times she was handed the mic to speak freely exceeded the combined opportunities given to at least five men. At some point, people even started commenting that she was being treated more like a guest speaker than a participant. During her contributions, she made sweeping remarks about “Igbo men,” describing them as “lower class” and “white worshippers.” When she was challenged on those statements, she shifted the tone, playing the victim and redirecting the conversation back to herself. Naturally, actions invite reactions, and her condescension was met with firm pushback. Then, when it was your turn to speak, you pivoted the moment into something else entirely, framing it as an “NLC solidarity movement” and handing your time right back to her again. Why? Because it seemed less about addressing the issue at hand and more about turning it into an Igbo men vs Igbo women competition. This is very funny. Meanwhile, the young woman from Igbere who spoke thoughtfully and respectfully, drawing from her cultural perspective while disagreeing, was overlooked. She didn’t get your support, perhaps because she didn’t fit the preferred narrative and could easily be dismissed with labels like “pick me” or “patriarchy princess.” That’s the core problem here: calling for equality while resisting accountability.
Just Nneka@IamJustNneka

I stayed on that God-forsaken space until it ended, solely because they ganged up on an Igbo woman, @sugabelly, and I didn’t want her to be there alone. When they couldn’t defend their arguments, they resorted to personal attacks, twisted her words, and then tag-teamed to silence her—muting her and limiting her speaking time whenever she tried to respond. Igbo men on this app have been showing themselves to be anti-intellectual when facts don’t suit their agendas. All of a sudden, books and historical texts were no longer worthy of reference, instead, whatever their lying parents said became the “truth.” You are an embarrassment, and your incompetence is evident for all to see across the South East, which you’ve helped run into the ground, from your harebrained Biafra agitation to your current standing in the country.

I should be able to build on my husband land if I can after all it’s my (his) children that’ll inherit it. I should be able to get properties from my family and husband…

The ogiri I used to cook the ukwa was the best I’ve ever used. I can’t wait to use it to make Ofe Nsala. My mum has this woman in Obosi she buys ogiri from, and now I understand why she always buys it in large quantities anytime she comes to the East. I bought from her too, and the quality is everything. 🥰

A daughter is a tenant in her own father’s house? When we speak against these misogynist practices and mindset I Ala Igbo, you people will say we are lying and start quoting that women inherit properties in your villages , some of you will tell us that if we are not inheriting , it’s because our Umunna are wicked and we should go to our villages and go fight them as your mothers and sisters are inheriting from their fathers.
Onicha@Ohimiri_

@NelOsuji A wife will get her husband’s share. A daughter will get from her fathers share pending her marriage. Nwaada/nwunye di are both tenants and the land will be transferred should in case. They both hold the land in trust of their father/husband as the case maybe.

Igbo women will never take accountability for their endless list of flaws. Igbo men marry y'all to help pass down the culture to their kids, y'all abandon it to speak yeye English. Igbo man marries foreigner, she'll learn Igbo and even help him pass it down to the kids.
Phoenix!🧝‍♀️@Alexisnphoenix

The person you’re talking about is white. That means if both her and her kids speak Igbo, the man played a large role in that. As an Igbo man, you should be ashamed of yourself if your children don’t speak Igbo and you couldn’t teach them, you’re there waiting for woman to teach them your own language? Shame, shame, shame again!

Can you mention one achievement of Umuada in Igbo land! Why can’t Umuada to mandate every Igbo woman to speak Igbo to their kids? Why can’t Umuada make it a suggestive statement for every Igbo woman to always communicate with their kids in Igbo language? Umuada is not being useful and promoting Igbo culture

@EhisBukason Another foolish beer parlour gist. If your wife (an igbo woman) does not speak igbo to your kids, you as a man have failed in life. You don't need umuada to do shit. What in the name of low mentality is this.🧐🧐
