We had the best day celebrating Read Across America with the talented theater group from Columbus State University. They put on an unforgettable performance of "How I Became a Pirate." Watching stories come to life on stage is the absolute best way to celebrate reading!

We absolutely love seeing our students shine! Our talented students recently took the stage to present "The Rhythm of Black History." From the incredible performances to the powerful messages, they brought history to life through music, movement, and spoken word.

Our 2nd grade team has started recognizing students of the week! These students glow with kindness, positivity, and good choices, and grow by working hard and never giving up on their learning. They are shining stars in their class!

Congrats to our February students of the month! Our character word this month was tolerance, and these amazing students have shown us exactly what it means to keep an open mind, respect others' differences, and create a welcoming environment for everyone!

Our Reading Bowl team competed yesterday and did a great job! Way to represent PCE!

Congrats to our talented PCE artists for being chosen to have artwork displayed at the HCPAC Dutchtown Cluster Art Exhibit. It is quite an honor to be included in the exhibits with Henry County students of all ages. Artwork can be viewed at the McDonough PAC from Feb 11 - 27.

We celebrated World Read Aloud Day by hearing authors Aaron Reynolds and Suzanne Lang read one of their books live. These authors are favorites at our school! Make reading aloud with the children in your life a priority...it's beneficial and fun! #WRAD2026 @aaronreynolds

Huge shout-out to our PCE Robotics team! Their competition was held last Friday, & they competed against elementary & middle school teams from across the district. Both teams showed incredible heart & determination. Our coaches are extremely proud of these students!
