Current look at radar this afternoon as some showers and thunder storms are starting to make their way into the Daytona Beach area. Nothing wide spread regarding rain coverage this afternoon but some areas will see something.

Check out the expected rainfall accumulation totals through the next 7 days. Very slim for many but the East Coast of FL looks to get some action by mid week.

Talk about a foggy morning! Portions of west central to north FL are seeing quite the visibility issues this morning!!!

Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a conditional tornado threat are expected this afternoon and evening across parts of the Ohio Valley into the northern Mid Atlantic region.

Summer time heat looking to be on tap for your Sunday 3/22/26, with high temp records being broken from the west coast to the east coast.

Still watching and keeping an eye on water temps in the Tropics and the Gulf. Recent cold front this past week has helped to keep the waters closest to coast from FL up along the East Coast the coolest. With is transitioning into an El Nino...just something to keep an eye on. Only takes one!

After the little cold snap FL saw for spring break week...the cold air is slowly being pushed out and the hot air is rolling in. Some spots could see near 90 high temps come next weekend!

Check out the rain totals so far for the month of March. As expected...FL style...some areas picking up more than others. The resounding theme is that, even with these rains...still not enough to bust any drought conditions state wide...WE NEED MORE!!!

Today, isolated strong to severe thunderstorms may produce marginally severe hail and damaging winds this afternoon and evening across parts of the southern Appalachians/Southeast.

Im sure you all have seen either on the news or on other pages talk about this massive heat dome out West which is bringing record breaking heat to this region. Over the next 7 days or so, this high pressure looks to lift and move off towards the East and will bring some record high temps to portions of the Eastern US and NEAST by the end of March!🥵🥵🥵🥵

And drier and drier we get...That little bit of rain we got last week...while very welcome...didn't do much! One of the worst droughts in a long time...and appears this may only get worse I'm afraid!

And the dryness continues...FL and much of the SEAST looking dry through the next week. But f you venture into the Atlantic some off the East of FL and GA...you will run into rains.
