🌴🌦️ Palm Sunday Weekend Forecast: Big Temperature Divide Across the U.S.! 🌦️🌴
If you’ve got outdoor plans this weekend, you’ll want to pay attention—because the weather is bringing a little bit of EVERYTHING depending on where you are 👇
🔥 South & Florida:
Warm and spring-like conditions take over! Highs climb into the 70s and 80s, with parts of Florida pushing the mid-80s. It’ll feel great, but don’t be surprised by a few passing showers, especially late weekend.
❄️ Midwest & Great Lakes:
A much cooler air mass settles in with highs stuck in the 40s and 50s. Some areas could even see a mix of rain and wet snow, especially farther north. Definitely not feeling like spring just yet!
🌧️ Northeast:
Chilly and unsettled. Expect clouds, scattered rain, and even some snow showers in interior areas. Temperatures remain below average—keep that jacket handy!
🌵 West:
Warm to hot out West, especially across the Southwest where temps surge into the 80s and 90s. A few spotty showers possible in the Rockies, but overall a warm weekend.
💨 The Setup:
A strong high pressure system offshore and cooler air dipping south is creating this sharp contrast—classic spring pattern across the country!
👉 Bottom line:
• Warm and pleasant in the South 🌴
• Cool and unsettled up North ❄️
• A little bit of rain for many 🌧️

📷 LONG-RANGE ALERT: BIG PATTERN SHIFT SIGNALING DRY & HOT FOR THE EAST 📷
Take a look at this latest ECMWF extended ensemble rainfall anomaly through early May… and wow — the signal is LOUD.
📷 Deep reds across Florida and much of the Eastern U.S. = WELL BELOW normal rainfall
📷 Meanwhile, the Southern Plains and parts of Texas trend wetter than average
📷 What this could mean:
• 📷 Florida staying drier than normal heading deeper into spring
• 📷 Increasing heat + sunshine = early season summer vibes
• 📷 Elevated concerns for drought development & wildfire risk
• 📷 Storm track staying well west of the peninsula
This doesn’t mean zero rain, but the pattern favors fewer, more isolated opportunities instead of widespread soaking rains.
📷 Bottom line:
If this holds, we could be looking at a hot, dry stretch heading into late spring across Florida and the Southeast.
📷 Remember — this is long-range guidance, not a day-by-day forecast… but the consistency is something to watch closely.

Ugh, that midweek chill is a nice little break, but it's disappearing faster than my motivation on a Monday! 😩 Get ready for the heat to make its grand return by Friday. We're talking temps 10-20+ degrees warmer than usual for this time of year, and I wouldn't be surprised if we shatter some records....AGAIN. ☀️🔥

Still watching and keeping an eye on water temps in the Tropics and the Gulf. Recent cold front this past week has helped to keep the waters closest to coast from FL up along the East Coast the coolest.
With is transitioning into an El Nino...just something to keep an eye on. Only takes one!

🌡️ HEAT TAKING OVER THE U.S. TODAY 🥵
If it feels like summer… that’s because for a lot of the country, it basically is 😳
🔥 Widespread 80s & 90s dominate from the Plains to the Southeast
🔥 Parts of Texas & the Southwest pushing mid to upper 90s
🔥 Even areas up north getting a taste of warmth
Meanwhile… 👀
❄️ The northern tier is like “nah, we’re still in spring” with much cooler temps hanging on
➡️ The real story?
This is above average heat for late March — and it’s going to feel it.
💬 Translation:
• AC units getting tested early
• Pollen going FULL SEND 🌼
• “Why is it this hot already?” posts incoming

Im sure you all have seen either on the news or on other pages talk about this massive heat dome out West which is bringing record breaking heat to this region. Over the next 7 days or so, this high pressure looks to lift and move off towards the East and will bring some record high temps to portions of the Eastern US and NEAST by the end of March!🥵🥵🥵🥵

📷 Heads up, Florida! 📷
Looking at the HI RES model future radar loop and it's showing a pretty good idea of when those rains will be moving in tomorrow thanks to this approaching frontal line. 📷
Central Florida, looks like we're expecting some action to start popping up around 3-4 PM. The drive home tomorrow looks wet for many! 📷
