I think berds trait swapping idea was cool but I think inability to execute = made it awkward and he turned his focus elsewhere + probably busy irl but I think failing to deliver that or give updates is more an avoid awkward convo move.
(Idk if that is accurate or not)
But I’d rather have him back in the mix and just say “my bad trait swapping app was too ambitious” and be around
vs “it’s cooking” and then feel the need to be MIA to avoid addressing that it’s not actually cooking.
Not all failed things/attempts have to be “go away forever” there is more value in the people who participate and grab the mic / try to help out. Would rather he just come and move onto next project vs pour energy into @IBCBerds project (was always meh on the art personally but I liked what creator brought to the table with the energy.
lol weird post, it’s like a gentle call out but more of an invite to come back into the fold
You will notice that the funky bad actor type drops don’t usually jump on the mic and make the effort to be in spaces getting to know people. Spaces + Discord Channels tbh.
NFT is community energy, it’s also meme-like in the networking needed. I felt like @IBCBerds was good at showing up in spaces and shilling and @nftdreamerstar was also great but more of a keyboard warrior talking to people in telegram discord and in the timeline.
Idk just thinking about people who are MIA.
Then we have @only_bad_art who allegedly passed away this summer (per @oggysNFT who said he was attempting to get control) - also never on the mic
You gor @Sweet_Corns_NFT who always seemed nice but idk if I ever heard on the mic
Other weird drops this year like “Bad Bull” which paid for launchpad and booked to be on spaces but pulled a no show - also never on the mic
Other funky ones like “weirdo” which looks to be part of a network of likely one person pretending to be multiple people - also never on the mic
Fanksy I know irl so in the front end he intentionally avoided the mic since he knew if I heard him I would have never supported the work like I did at the front end. At this point just clear not down to do the work it takes to build community / not someone who actually values that imo. (Here to extract and leverage AI) - also never on the mic
Just because you get on the mic = does not make you trust worthy. I’d say the best sociopath/scammer types are comfortable and can win people over in convo = but it’s harder for most. There are more people down to do something ruggy but never talk to anyone vs the higher level of speaking lies and be a “persona” and come speak in spaces. Bigger investment too so if you don’t plan on sticking around why make that effort OR - people might recognize your voice since I suspect bad acting to come more from within vs external new people.
They can type out some lies and drop a set but they don’t get on the mic usually on these low level NFT ruggy projects
Not all failed projects are rugs, not all failed projects even drop, people fail or get busy or things off chain change.
It’s hard to tell the difference though.
You got @CelestiaPunks who I think set out to cash grab, then you have projects like @Glyntar who delivered the sniper bot, talked about an upgrade to the art and something about a token - then went silent. (Delivered the bot though) - maybe they pick it back up
You got @PictureDays which could have tried to build community but never really promised that - also got busy with irl work and family but that’s more like DMs with me vs public announcements.
Also hoping to see @PEPSVIBE circle back and drop eventually - gave up on @TheOracleArt ever delivering those airdrops
Will be interesting to see who continues to show up, who falls off, and who circles back to the zone and the timeline.
