Fantastic effort by Adam, who studies #ProstateCancer. He's joined other ICR researchers, patients, ICR supporters, and Greg Rutherford and Erin Kennedy in taking on our race to #FinishCancer by collectively running 167,000 steps along the UK coastline. icr.ac.uk/support-us/app…

Today I ran 9 km to support @ICR_London’s race to finish cancer across Golden Gardens Park (Seattle, US). Together we are imprinting the words ‘FINISH CANCER’ into the coastline, to represent the 167,000 lives lost to cancer each year in the UK.

Cancer research is vital if we want to make living joyfully with cancer a reality. From treatment lines to discovering new cancers (Triple Negative was only really “discovered “in 2005!), research is essential if we want to take steps towards finishing cancer for good.
