Just finished the latest Co-Production Board for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, which I Co-Chair with Wil, my colleague from People First Merseyside. A really positive meeting, the first in person for quite a long time, with other colleagues joining via Zoom.

In the most poignant moment of the evening, a user of @PFMerseyside shared why cutting services in communities matters. “If I didn’t have the organisation and the advocacy I have now, I wouldn’t be alive.” Charities not only enhance lives, they save lives.
