I agree on one point: no one can deny the U.S.’s role in advancing science and technology. But you also can’t deny that these individuals were Egyptians, born, raised, and educated in Egypt. They were simply given equal opportunities alongside their Western peers, and they proved that Egyptians can contribute meaningfully to the world and to humanity. Even if one of them was, as you say, “progressive,” that doesn’t refute the Israeli terrorism. Many scientists, innocent people, and brilliant minds have been killed.
