Schulz, first debuted on October 2, 1950, and quickly became one of the most influential and beloved comic series in history. Centered around the gentle, anxious character Charlie Brown, the strip explored themes of childhood, failure, friendship, and quiet resilience. On that very first day, Charlie Brown’s imaginative beagle Snoopy also appeared, originally depicted as a more realistic dog before evolving into the iconic, whimsical personality fans know today.
