With Poilievre now officially becoming Carney’s best buddy and the Conservatives and Liberals more than ever acting as a uniparty, it’s crucial that we have a real opposition in Canada’s Parliament.
I have been extremely impressed with the stances taken by the new leader of the NDP Avi Lewis, in particular his desire to increase taxes on just about everything and his forceful defence of intersectional decolonialist race and gender affirming DEI programs.
It’s time to move on and try a new approach. Mr. Lewis and I have successfully negotiated the merger of the PPC and the NDP, and I am proud to announce today, April 1st, that we are launching the New People’s Party of Canada!
