As a young man who just got married, nothing really tests your love for your wife like pregnancy and everything that comes with it. That period will show you whether you’re truly considerate and thoughtful. I recently spent over a week in my cousin’s house. His wife is heavily pregnant, and I won’t lie, pregnancy is a very tough journey, not just for the woman, but for the husband and everyone around her. I watched someone I consider one of the strongest babes I know turn into the softest version of herself. One night, she was in the kitchen making yam and egg sauce. She didn’t know I had come back. While slicing the yam, the knife fell to the floor. The stress and pain of having to bend down and pick it up overwhelmed her, and she started crying. She cried for over five minutes before I heard her and rushed into the kitchen. In that moment, my dream of having eight kids disappeared completely. If my wife says she wants just two, as long as one is a girl, I’m fine with that. To all the pregnant women out there, you are real superheroes❤️
