The It'll Cost You Campaign 2024 will run in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde from 1st July until 12th Aug raising awareness of the dangers of buying alcohol for under 18s. It's a criminal offence with penalties of up to a £5000 fine, up to 3 months in prison or both. #itllcostyou

Yesterday, 6-year-old, Anthony Green from Fife visited Renfrewshire and Inverclyde as part of his charity fund raising for the Police Benevolent Fund. During the month of July Anthony is visiting all the divisions within Police Scotland and approximately 50 police stations.

In partnership with Police Scotland, local boxing champion Rhys McCole recently ran a Summer Camp for local Inverclyde youths. All who attended enjoyed learning from Rhys and the partners he invited along. Many Thanks to Rhys for making it happen 👊🏻

Criminal gangs are growing cannabis in your area. Organised crime gangs are renting properties in both urban and rural areas and setting up cannabis farms, often bringing serious violence, victims of modern slavery, and increased risks of fatal building fires and explosions.

Local Inverclyde Officers are carrying out a speeding initiative and were recently deployed to the Esplanade in Greenock.

Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Division welcomed our new recruits this week to begin their policing journey. The officers will be heading to their respective offices within the division and are keen to get out and about helping to keep our communities safe..
