Kaelyn Boss delivered another huge performance in Osage City’s 69-48 win over Olpe. The standout sophomore poured in 35 points while adding nine rebounds and four steals to lead the Indians.
Osage City improves to 18-3 on the season and is ranked No. 4 in 3A. Notably, all three losses came in back-to-back games when Boss was sidelined with injury. The reigning 2024-25 Sports in Kansas Small Classes Non-Senior of the Year is putting together an even bigger sophomore campaign, solidifying her status as one of the top young players in the state. #sportsinkansas

Osage City sophomore Kaelyn Boss is officially back, and she wasted no time making an impact. After missing several games in January due to injury, Boss showed up in a big way Tuesday night, stuffing the stat sheet with 18 points, 10 steals, and 8 rebounds in a win over Northern Heights, just two rebounds shy of a triple-double. Her presence was felt everywhere on the floor. Boss is no stranger to big moments, earning SIK Non-Senior Player of the Year as a freshman in 2025, a rare and almost unheard-of honor. Osage City now sits at 15–3, with all three losses coming during the stretch Boss was sidelined, underscoring just how important she is to the Indians. Now the spotlight turns to a huge showdown tonight as #7 Osage City faces #4 Burlington (15–2) in a matchup that could have major implications in 3A.
