✅Maintains 'just cause' protections for employees

Police in California (LAPD and Sacramento PD) this week keep giving more unlawful orders and threatening press at homeless encampment sweeps. Many videos in this thread 🧵. Some officers just make up nonexistent laws. Starting today in Los Angeles: x.com/shoton35mm/sta…

Earlier, LAPD officers threatened to arrest me for filming a sanitation "cleanup" within their "work zone." The officers struggled to cite a law that supports their claims. I gave up when a Sgt said I would be given a "final warning" before being taken away in handcuffs. @LATACO
