I teach at #Columbia & I saw the protests yesterday. I walked by one on campus & saw two posters of known terrorists. One of Walid Daqqah, who was affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, & the other of Khader Adnan, who was the spokesperson for Palestine Islamic Jihad - both of which are designated terrorist groups. PIJ is holding hostages right now.
I was stunned & horrified to see the images of these men, being extolled as though they're some kind of heroes. It was like a punch in the gut. I believe that these students, while young and clearly lost, seem to know exactly who & what they're supporting

@HagarChemali Terrofying. Do these students actually have any idea of the history of what they supporting? Thank you this perpective. usatoday.com/story/opinion/…

For a second, imagine that black students at Columbia were taunted: Go back to Africa. Or imagine that a gay student was surrounded by homophobic protesters and hit with a stick at Yale University. Or imagine if a campus imam told Muslim students that they ought to head home for Ramadan because campus public safety could not guarantee their security.
There would be relentless fury from our media and condemnation from our politicians.
Just remember the righteous—and rightful—outrage over the white supremacist “Unite the Right” march in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017, where neo-Nazis chanted “The Jews will not replace us.”
This weekend at Columbia and Yale, student demonstrators did all of the above—only it was directed at Jews. They told Columbia students to “go back to Poland.” A Jewish woman at Yale was assaulted with a Palestinian flag. And an Orthodox rabbi at Columbia told students to go home for their safety.

My stance on the Second Amendment is simple: I’m not going to take anyone’s guns away. I believe in the Constitution. But Americans need to work together to figure out why we have mass shootings every 21 hours. Something changed around the time of the Columbine shootings in 1999, and it wasn’t the number of guns in America. The National Institutes of Health refuses to investigate the mystery; in fact, Congress prohibits the NIH from researching the cause of mass shootings. Under my administration, that rule ends — and our kids’ safety becomes a top priority.
Thank you, @glennbeck, for the conversation.

How would @Columbia respond if the students took over campus in support of the KKK and called for the genocide of other ethnic minorities?
Would @Columbia continue to support the demonstrations on the basis of a commitment to free speech or would the University’s code of conduct suddenly have operative impact?

Having studied in the classrooms of Columbia University, I've always valued the institution's dedication to intellectual diversity and open discourse. However, the recent events unfolding on campus, with anti-Israel, terrorist-supporting protests and inflammatory rhetoric, are deeply troubling. As an alumna, I believe it's crucial for @columbia to uphold its principles of inclusivity of thought while safeguarding the rights of all students, including those of Jewish descent. Columbia has stopped receiving donations from many alumni, including me, since they failed to stop the student body from passing a BDS resolution. They will continue to not receive a penny from me in donations until this antisemitism problem is cleaned up. Furthermore, I will continue to use my social media platform to expose their failures and demand action. It's imperative for the university administration to start taking definitive steps to address and condemn any form of discrimination or hostility targeting Jewish students. Call in the National Guard. Stop taking money from foreign bad actors. Fire terrorist sympathizers on staff. Expel students who break the law. These are all adults. And they must be held accountable.

NEW: The man who lit himself on fire outside of Trump’s trial in NYC has been identified as Max Azzarello.
“My name is Max Azzarello, and I am an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside of the Trump trial in Manhattan,” his manifesto read.
“This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery: We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.”
“We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.”
“These claims sound like fantastical conspiracy theory, but they are not. They are proof of conspiracy. If you investigate this mountain of research, you will prove them too. If you learn a great deal about Ponzi schemes, you will discover that our life is a lie.”
“If you follow this story and the links below, you will discover the rotten truth of ‘post-truth America’. You will learn the scariest and stupidest story in world history. And you will realize that we are all in a desperate state of emergency that requires your action.”
“To my friends and family, witnesses and first responders, I deeply apologize for inflicting this pain upon you. But I assure you it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict.”
“Because these words are true, this is an act of revolution.”

BREAKING.🚨
FBI Director Christopher Wray has announced that Chinese government-linked hackers have infiltrated U.S. critical infrastructure.
“The PRC [People’s Republic of China] has made it clear that it considers every sector that makes our society run as fair game in its bid to dominate on the world stage, and that its plan is to land low blows against civilian infrastructure to try to induce panic and break America’s will to resist,” he said in Nashville.
The threat is partially “driven by the CCP’s aspirations to wealth and power,” Wray said, adding that China wants to “seize economic development in the areas most critical to tomorrow’s economy,” even if doing so requires theft.
The Chinese government has tried to steal “intellectual property, technology, and research” from nearly every industry in the U.S. economy, he noted.
But the CCP also wants to prevent the United States from being able to get in the way of a potential future “crisis between China and Taiwan by 2027,” he said. Americans are starting to feel the effects of this sprint, he said, pointing to “cyber intrusions and criminal activity” as early deterrence efforts by the CCP.
The FBI worries that China will soon attack critical infrastructure, since “these vital sectors—everything from water treatment facilities and energy grids to transportation and information technology—form the backbone of our society.”
“The fact is, the PRC’s targeting of our critical infrastructure is both broad and unrelenting,” he said. And, he added, the immense size—and expanding nature—of the CCP’s hacking program isn’t just aimed at stealing American intellectual property. “It’s using that mass, those numbers, to give itself the ability to physically wreak havoc on our critical infrastructure at a time of its choosing,” he said.
This risk isn’t new, he added. CCP-sponsored cyber actors "prepositioned” themselves to potentially mount cyber offenses against American energy companies in 2011—targeting 23 different pipeline operators.
The FBI warning comes amid the Biden administration allowing hundreds of Chinese nationals to unlawfully enter the United States, while handing out tens of thousands of visas to Chinese nationals, raising fears of "sleeper cells" positioning to attack the United States.

There is a populist revolution happening in our country. Millions of Americans are rejecting the negative demagoguery of political elites who have ignored their interests and the vanishing middle class. It's time for a true populist leader to take back our country.
