He says : "If you want to deliver an economic blow to Pakistan, then before the start of the PSL league in Lahore, Multan, Islamabad, and Karachi, detonate a B0MB at one stadium each. The Afghan Taliban and TTP should remember that in case of any cross-border attack, drone attack or any terrorist incident inside Pakistan, "Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq" shall immediately resume with renewed intensity.

ISPR Rawalpindi, 19 March 2026 Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF, interacted with Ulema of Ahl-e-Tasheeh community at Rawalpindi where matters of national security and role of Ulema in societal harmony came under discussion. The Field Marshal underscored vital role of Ulema in promoting unity, tolerance and national cohesion, particularly in countering misinformation, sectarian narratives and externally sponsored destabilization efforts. Referring to Operation Ghazab lil Haq, he emphasised that Pakistan will not tolerate use of Afghan soil for conduct of terrorism against our people, and reiterated the resolve to eliminate terrorists and their infrastructure operating against Pakistan wherever they may be, through precise, intelligence-based operations. He emphasized that Afghan Taliban must prevent use of Afghan soil for terrorism against Pakistan. The Field Marshal highlighted to the participants, Pakistan’s efforts and pro-active diplomacy in seeking regional de-escalation. He emphasised the critical role of Ulema to strengthen unity and counter extremism, reiterating that religious sentiments must not be exploited to incite violence in the country. Violence in Pakistan, on the basis of incidents occurring in another country, will not be tolerated. The participating Ulema expressed their desire for peace, stability, and condemned violence in the name of religion in strongest terms. They expressed wholehearted support to law enforcement agencies in bringing about peace and stability in the country.

Certain known anti-Pakistan accounts are once again unnecessarily hyping up the statement made by Tulsi Gabbard regarding Pakistan’s strategic and missile program. Pakistan has repeatedly and consistently maintained that its strategic program is India-specific and was conceived from its inception on the basis of the nuclear threat posed by India. Pakistan’s missile program and the associated ranges are designed to target Indian territory, including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (covered by systems like Shaheen-III at ~2,750 km and Ababeel at ~2,200 km with MIRV capability for deterrence against India's defenses). Any insinuation that these programs pose or can pose a threat to the USA or any other country is totally baseless and most probably initiated by the Indian lobby in the US. Gabbard's remarks grouped Pakistan with states like Russia, China, North Korea, and Iran in discussing global missile advancements that "put our homeland within range," but this is a broad, speculative intelligence community assessment not evidence of intent, current capability, or design targeting the U.S. Pakistan has no declared or demonstrated ICBM program, and open-source analyses (including U.S. assessments) confirm its arsenal remains regionally focused, with no flight-tested systems exceeding South Asian ranges. This selective framing ignores Pakistan's transparent posture of credible minimum deterrence solely against existential threats from its neighbor, while overlooking India's own rapid expansion of longer-range systems like Agni-V (beyond 5,000 km) and MIRV developments that receive minimal equivalent scrutiny.
