@Boho_Sam_ If Trump keeps claiming the 2020 election was fraudulent, a journalist asking for evidence is doing her job. That claim was not proven in court, by election officials, or by Trump’s Justice Department. Calling NBC “crooked” and walking away is not proof.

Trump just looked Kristen Welker dead in the eye, called NBC crooked, and walked out mid-interview. He’s done entertaining reporters who pretend the 2020 election was clean. Bold move, and a lot of people are loving it.

@DawnsMission In her defense, Trump repeatedly brings up claims about the 2020 election being rigged. If he keeps making that claim, then it is fair for a journalist to ask him for evidence. That is not disrespect, that is accountability.

🚨 President Trump just did what every real American has been waiting for. He dropped the mic, walked off the interview with Kristen Welker, and refused to waste another second. At this point it is not worth President Trump’s time to meet with these reporters. I am happy that he ended the interview. All she did is ask for evidence of cheating which is so overwhelmingly obvious that a person with a 3rd grade education would know better. Shame on the press for being complicit.

@Burnman11 @DawnsMission Not liking how the press speaks to a president is one thing. But claiming the 2020 election was “blatantly fraudulent” is another. That was not proven in court, by election officials, or by Trump’s own Justice Department. Disrespectful coverage is not evidence of voter fraud.

@DawnsMission Never, at least not in my lifetime (72 years) has a president been treated so disrespectfully by so man in the press. They way she speaks down to him is extremely annoying. We all know the 2020 election was most blatantly fraudulent.

@LivingRealUSA @AntiTrumpCanada HuffPost literally won a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting and employs credentialed journalists. Disagreeing with their political leanings doesn't change reality. Calling them 'fake' and throwing insults just ruins your own argument.

@KatKanada_TM That’s not quite factual. No excavation means no forensic cause-of-death finding yet, but that also means murder has not been ruled out. Tk’emlúps says the investigation is ongoing and decisions about ancestral remains require consultation, DNA/forensic work, and protocols.

RCMP did investigate the Kamloops claims and had already thoroughly examined historical abuse allegations at the school decades earlier. NO EVIDENCE OF MURDER was found in either effort. No bodies have been exhumed at Kamloops to date, so no forensic determination of cause of death (murder or otherwise) has been possible. Kamloops band continues to stall excavation.
Mood Poisoning@CDNapathy

@KatKanada_TM Again- if there is a suspicion of human remains- shouldn’t this be investigated as a potential crime scene by the RCMP or other enforcement agencies? Allegations of genocide or a killing field/serial killer dumping ground (Picton Farm comes to mind) should be investigated❓❓❓

@miss_tanyac Also, Alberta would not automatically inherit Canada’s trade deals, border agreements, defence arrangements, or NATO protection. Those would have to be negotiated, and NATO membership is not automatic. That is another major cost and risk being left out.

@miss_tanyac Independence does not mean Alberta simply “keeps” $25B. Alberta would also have to replace federal services, defence, borders, courts, programs, and deal with Treaty obligations. The cost of staying matters, but so does the full cost of leaving.

There are costs to Alberta independence. Fair enough. But federal services are already funded in part by Alberta tax dollars. Add Alberta’s ~$25B annual net contribution to Ottawa & ~$26.5B in lost energy opportunity, and the question becomes: What’s the cost of staying?

Collins: Just to clarify. is the $1.8 billion DOJ fund dead or is it on hold? Trump: I'd have to ask the lawyers. I don't know. People like you have abused our people. Collins: But Republicans— Trump: Be quiet. You should be ashamed of yourself. You used to be conservative from Alabama. CNN does such false reporting, but now they have new ownership, so maybe it'll straighten it out. It’s hard to straighten garbage out.

@cspotweet If Albertans fail to renew their health care card, they will lose Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan coverage. As per Bill 11. That's kind of a big deal. Without a card, we'll have to pay out-of-pocket and apply to be reimbursed. #ableg medicinehatnews.com/news/local-new…

@XsaviorTheo @mrsunshinebaby @IamChristian_S_ That is not how it works. Alberta cannot just declare independence and have the U.S. make it real. Canadian law requires a clear question, a clear majority, and constitutional negotiations. Foreign recognition does not erase Canada’s Constitution.

UNBELIEVABLE: Mark Carney told a reporter that he would NOT recognize a 50%+1 vote on an Alberta independence referendum. Can you believe this? Albertans can vote FOR separation. They can vote to leave Canada. But that's not enough for Mark Carney.

@factpostnews RFK seems to start with the assumption that autism must be caused by an outside exposure, then works backward to blame things like vaccines, Tylenol, chemicals, and circumcision. Autism research points to a complex mix of genetics, biology, and environment, not one simple cause.

@RiseOfAlberta The new wording does not make the issue disappear. It still asks whether Alberta should start the legal process toward a binding separation referendum. If that process may affect Treaty rights, consultation is still relevant.

@bluebottle931 @wealthmoose “The Crown” means the government acting as the legal authority of the state. In this context, it means the Alberta government/provincial Crown, because it is the government process that may trigger the duty to consult Treaty rights holders.

🚨 700,000 Albertans signed a petition demanding a separation referendum. One unelected judge ..appointed by Trudeau ..blocked it. One person overruled 700,000. Premier Smith is appealing to the Supreme Court. This is the moment that defines whether Canada is still a democracy. 🇨🇦 #Alberta

@atrupar The ultimate "free" gift that costs $1 billion. Trump's $400M private ballroom forces taxpayers to foot a massive $1B security bill, and future administrations are stuck paying the upkeep for a 90,000-sq-ft building we didn't need.
