There was an interesting ship at the salt mine in Goderich today. The grey ship is what we saw today but the ship with the red deck is what we see nearly all the time. A ship enthusiast said that the grey ship came in with a load of stone to unload at Goderich. It looks like it was being filled with salt after unloading the stone. It must have arrived and unloaded quickly because we flew over at 11:15am today and the ship wasn't in the harbour then, by 5:15pm it had already unloaded the stone and was being loaded with salt. #greatlakesshipping #goderichharbour #Goderich

Now that's impressive piloting! Did you know that helicopters often land on top of their trucks for refilling when they are out on a jobsite? This pilot was probably doing a training session to prepare for off-site operations.

@kyledecorte It was interesting flying over yesterday a small area really got dumped on lots of water sitting and you could see how much had run across the fields. We have fields a mile from this one and only got about a quarter inch.

@44Bridger Not too hard to learn. If you push the limits you can hurt yourself but if you're careful it is a handy and fun way to get around. We have pints would probably go pint x for the extra range if we were purchasing now. The xr is a bit bulkier and not as sporty of feel.
