thats not how it works, they paid £58m, but after 4 years of amortisation the book value is only ~£19-20m left. Selling for €60m (£51m) means roughly £30m+ profit on the books.

When Peter Obi first became Governor, he was invited to an official meeting in Abuja. His aides prepared a list of about 30 people to accompany him, just as was customary for governors at the time. Another invitation came, and once again he traveled with a large entourage. By the third or fourth trip, however, Obi began to question the huge amount of money being spent on these journeys. He felt it was excessive and unnecessary. It was not his personal money being spent—it was government money, and the expenditure was legally approved. Yet, to Obi, it represented wasteful spending of public funds. He called his staff and requested a detailed list of everyone who traveled with him, along with their specific responsibilities. After reviewing the list, he concluded that most of the tasks assigned to those individuals were things he could handle himself. He even insisted on carrying his own bag rather than assigning someone to do it for him. He also reviewed the security arrangements. Instead of paying for multiple security personnel to travel back and forth at government expense, he reasoned that it would be more cost-effective to coordinate with the Inspector General of Police and use security personnel already available at his destination. Through this culture of prudence and careful management of public resources, Peter Obi was able to leave Anambra State with substantial savings, clear outstanding debts, invest heavily in schools and hospitals, pay workers’ salaries, pensions, and gratuities, and undertake major infrastructure projects. Under his administration, Anambra also recorded significant improvements in educational performance. This is the candidate we are presenting to Nigerians. We have taken the time to examine his record, his leadership style, and his achievements in public office. After careful consideration, we believe he stands out as one of the most capable leaders among those seeking public office. May Almighty Allah grant him the opportunity to serve Nigeria and the wisdom and strength to lead the country towards progress and prosperity. Ameen.

If una really know where some of us dey come from, the kind load wey we dey carry for head, the responsibilities wey dey our neck and how hard e be to reach this level, una no go just open mouth talk some kind things. Everything no be for social media. Everything no be couch, TV stand and fine room pictures. Some of us dey sponsor ourselves, support family, pay school fees, take care of parents, settle bills and still dey try build a better life little by little. The fact say my room never look the way you want am make e look no mean say I no dey make progress. The things wey matter to me fit no be the things wey matter to you. Before you judge person from one picture, remember say you no know the full story. You no know where the person start from, wetin him don pass through, and the sacrifices wey him don make to get where him dey today. I no dey compete with anybody. If you want him out , the only realitic chance you have is to vote for Atiku. He is the only one who can scramble a win or force a rerun. Obi has no mathematical path to the presidency. None !
