Proverbs Chapter 5 covers 1 topic-sexual purity. Solomon states that God has designed sex to only be enjoyed between husband & wife. God will bless that union. All other pre or extra marital sex is not acceptable in God’s eyes. Chapter 5 urges us to keep our sexual lives pure. And it puts the emphasis on men to do that. For us to be faithful to God and be good decision makers in this area. It urges men to be patient, find the right woman, and then be totally committed to loving and honoring her only—Forever! It says men who do that will be blessed and men who don’t do that are fools. That is obviously not being taught as much in our society today but that is God’s design. Solomon says it’s up to us as men to teach that our sons and it’s up to our sons to listen and apply it.
