Football is a tough business. There is no other choice but to move on and keep improving. The boys left it all out in every single game.
Haven’t lost any of them and to not go to Saudi Arabia will hurt for awhile but this group will only get better.

Few current KLcity players of this years squad, who were there last year, are still waiting for their last years payment as well.

It's a shame, a person dedicates many years of their life to a place and almost 2 years go by and they don't receive their money for it. There's no way to help anymore, I went almost 7 months without pay and almost 2 years to receive it. I've already helped a lot.

Especially in a league where many local players & at times foreign players are afraid to come forward and notify responsible authorities, it does help spreading awareness of of such situations.

@PatrickReichelt @phfutbolistas I am speaking from a SEA talent development perspective. If there’s a nation putting in the work to bring through their players, they deserve credit. It’s not a hit on anyone else. You’re allowed to go with whatever strategy you want. And don’t assume you know “what I’m doing”

But hey, one can easily produce players by being a footballing nation, no? An economically prosperous, footballing nation, that is.
But hey, let's turn a blind eye on that and just say everything that confirms one's personal biases. It's easier and more comfortable.

That’s a tough defeat to take for Vietnam. Played some great football, had a good goal wrongly disallowed and 5 of their 6 penalties were incredible. Bigger picture though is that they’re producing their own players and at a good level.

@phfutbolistas It could even be a message to the entire region about working on the women’s game more. Not every country wants to take the time, money, effort to develop their own game. It’s a rare thing. Nations that do, should be praised. That’s all.
