In most amazing update, I’m overjoyed to report our lost Errol was found late yesterday afternoon. He’s in pretty rough shape & vet’s prognosis is guarded but we will do everything we can to help him achieve full recovery. We’re grateful to all those who helped with search 🙏❤️😻

@AaronQuinn716 Soccer does it right with high level officials. Fitness training is intense and FIFA pretty much puts you out to pasture by time you turn *45*.

Make officials full-time well paid employees. Seek out younger "in their prime" people for the jobs. Have year-round training programs for them. Have a fine system for impactful mistakes. Have a relegation system of reserve officials. When an official has too many bad games they have to earn their way back in. Have a "Super Challenge" like the UFL does where a coach can challenge ANY thing and not just certain plays. Make officials face the media openly for everyone to hear the answers to questions every week. Teams submit further explanations on calls to the league. Make this transparent every week. Show us the work and the why. Utilize the sky judge more to overturn certain calls/call attention to certain calls, especially within the final minutes of the half/game. I'm sure there is more we could do. But these are things I would at least suggest and try to discuss as a billion-dollar entity.

I’m so disgusted by what I just witnessed. In Amsterdam, Israelis & Jews leaving a soccer match were beaten unconscious by mobs, thrown in the river, and forced to say “free Palestine.” This is the direct result of normalizing antisemitism post Oct. 7, where the most flagrant acts of Jew-hatred were cast aside as just “bleeding hearts who are against the war.” Remind me again how these are all just kind people who care about humanity. If you can’t bring yourself to speak up now—after failing the Jewish community for the past year with silence and/or by insisting that “globalize the intifada” was anything other than a dogwhistle to harass Jews around the world—you have no right to call yourself a humanitarian.

Jews are being hunted by mobs in Amsterdam tonight. In Canada, some people say we devote too much time talking about antisemitism. No. No we do not. #antisemitism

What a great experience I had running for city council!! Thank you to all of my supporters and to the residents of Don Valley West! I wish the next councillor well as she fulfills her duties. It’s unfortunate that this election featured so much negativity and an aggressive voter suppression campaign. It’s the sort of stuff that can deter good people from running for office. But I’m proud we ran a positive campaign and I will never shy away from standing up for what matters! Toronto is a city full of amazing, hardworking people who deserve the best and it’s always an honour to spend time engaging with them. Thank you again!!

I’ve concluded @anthonyfurey is biggest crybaby in #topoli. He spends career saying/writing outrageously divisive things. Then whines about losing election because people brought up those things to rightly question his fitness for office. Take a hike, Tony. Please & thanks 👍
