The Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport runways were experiencing pavement friction loss . Based on a design engineer's recommendations, 110K sq yds of asphalt runway were diamond ground and regrooved. At the time, diamond grinding a major runway was a first for Broward County, #TBT

In 2023 we shared an update on Trunk Highway 210, west of Brainerd, MN. First constructed 71 yrs ago, most of the original 7 miles of concrete were still in service in 2023 (and remain today)—an incredible investment on behalf of Minnesota taxpayers. ow.ly/B8au50XKhWL #TBT
