@HAILMRYS Closest cinema to me mostly has late night viewings for anything with a 15 certificate or over, and the city can get very dangerous at night. I've even been shouted at by the taxi drivers for being outside so late alone when I've asked for a ride lmao

gen question! what stops people from going to the cinema alone?? Is there a reason that stops people going without someone? like I prefer going alone SOOOO much compared to going with others and 90% of the films I see in cinema i go alone!!!

It’s a double-edged sword. If the gambit pays off, then yes, it will undoubtedly affect how big companies treat indie animation. However, throwing millions of fans under the bus for said gambit and hurting your overall image at the same is…questionable at the very least
