Among those named: Dr Alireza Rezaei, urologist, Tehran Matin Moradian, healthcare worker, Mashhad Dr Saber Dehghan, neurosurgeon, Sirjan Dr Farhad Nadali, a general surgeon in Gorgan Dr Ameneh Soleimani in Ardebil Colleagues are being detained not for violence, but for providing care and, reportedly, for documenting injuries. This pattern suggests an attempt to intimidate medical staff: don’t treat, don’t record, don’t bear witness. Medical neutrality is a core ethical duty. Treating the wounded is not a crime.
