@FPGA_Zealot Huh I was using this book a few months ago from the o'reilly site via my library as a reference. Was extremely confused when I saw the published date was in 2 months in the future. Guess I wasn't crazy haha

Russell Merrick from Nandland just released an awesome book to get started with FPGAs. It has both Verilog and VHDL examples. I hope we get a second book in the future covering more advanced topics.
