@JMPSimor Debate on the EU is invariably couched in economic terms using old predictions and/or new announcements about trade deals. Yet 'the actual numbers 2016-25 show underperformance. That's the relevance-given all the 'advantages' you endlessly trumpet-why is the reality so poor?

The well known fact that a larger market (the EU single market) has greater bargaining power in trade negotiations than a smaller market (the U.K.).
