So the idea that “no big club will hire him” is entirely false Top clubs don’t just look at trophies. They look at: Squad building Tactical identity Ability to compete at the highest level Arteta checks all three. We’ve seen this before: Mauricio Pochettino built a project at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. without trophies and still got Paris Saint-Germain F.C.. Vincent Kompany got Bayern Munich based on style and profile, not trophies. Even elite managers have struggled against Guardiola. Jürgen Klopp, one of the greatest ever, won just one Premier League despite being phenomenal. So why is Arteta judged differently? If Arteta goes to a club like PSG, are they suddenly not winning Ligue 1? That’s unrealistic.
