@PhilippaHowson Even without closing my eyes I can picture - say - a spinning blue diamond in space with the crest of the planet earth lit by sunlight as the sun rises behind it in space. I can focus in on details. I guess you would call it a literal mind's eye.

It's baffling to me that some of y'all see stuff in your mind. You SEE it? The way your eyes see? I always thought "visualize" meant thinking of the words/ideas/feelings associated with a thing, not actual visuals. I am such a total 5 on this scale I didn't know 1-4 existed.

Hahaha oh God, my book's not even published yet & already I've attracted a terminal mansplainer 🙄 He'd previously sent me one of his short stories to read on camera for money. It was so hideous I (politely) turned him down. I think this might be his attempt at revenge 🤣

My publisher is ill so I’m taking my niece out for the afternoon tea we were going to have, instead. And I’m going to try not to BORE ON about my book at her, in recognition of the fact that she is not my publisher. Maybe.
