Happy Veterans Day, PXU Family 🇺🇸! Today, we honor all those who have served & are currently serving in the US military. We also remember those who lost their lives serving our country. PXU is closed today in observance of the holiday and will reopen tomorrow.

PXU Family, this is a reminder that Phoenix Union schools are closed on Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day 🇺🇸. We will see everyone back on campuses on Tuesday, November 12. Have a safe long weekend!

Tonight, PXU Native American Education Program students presented about their participation in programs that PXU NAEP helped connect them with. Thank you to all of the student presenters, and Happy Native American Heritage Month! 🎉

Tonight, the PXU Governing Board recognized Ms. Tori Anderson for being a finalist and Ambassador for Excellence for the AEF Teacher of the Year award. Congratulations, Ms. Anderson, and thank you for all you do for our students! 🎉

Tonight, the PXU Governing Board recognized Wendy Soto Enriquez from Maryvale for winning 1st place for the 12th grade category in the “Honoring America’s Veterans” statewide essay contest overseen by the Arizona Republic. She was 1st out of over 140 entries. Congrats, Wendy! 🎉
