The US Dollar Index (DXY) measured the dollar's strength against major currencies. It was stronger on average in 2024 before falling sharply in 2025—down about 10%, the steepest drop in three decades. It closed 2025 near 98 and sits around 98.9 as of April 2026. Purchasing power (vs. inflation) saw the dollar lose roughly 2% from 2024 to 2025.

🚨 Jessica Tarlov says it's clear that the political violence comes from the right. Let's check... ▪️BLM riots - Leftist violence ▪️Tesla Fire bombing - Leftist violence ▪️Attacks on ICE agents - Leftist violence ▪️Charlie Kirk Assassination - Leftist violence ▪️ 3 Assassination Attempts on the President - Leftist violence ▪️United Healthcare CEO - Leftist Violence ▪️ Murder of 2 Jewish workers - Leftist violence ▪️Minneapolis Catholic School shooting - Leftist violence Jessica is either a willing participant in the propaganda being used to destroy this country, or she is a useful idiot to those who want to destroy this country. Either way, she seems to have forgotten the definition of a lie - it's when you intentionally say things that don't align with reality. And Jessica meets that definition every time she opens her mouth.

The Republican gaslighting on ‘violent rhetoric’ is ludicrous. Yes, Democrats call Donald Trump a threat to democracy. He still denies the 2020 election and a lot of his party has gone along with it. There’s a reason Republicans hide from reporters - they can’t answer for Trump dancing on the graves of his political enemies or calling Democrats ‘the enemy within’, ‘traitors’, or the ‘party of hate, evil, and Satan.’ And for those that actually care about reality, the majority of political violence comes from the right. It’s clear as day.

Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law on Nov 19, 2025, after Congress forced the issue. DOJ has since released over 3.5M pages (with more in waves), though delays, redactions, and completeness drew bipartisan criticism—including leading to Pam Bondi's firing. He campaigned on release but resisted full unredacted dumps over victim privacy and unverified claims.

Yes, during Trump's first term he repeatedly touted "Infrastructure Week" and a $1 trillion plan to fix roads, bridges, and more. It became a Washington meme as no major bipartisan bill passed—plans kept getting derailed. President Biden signed the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in 2021, authorizing ~$1.2 trillion total with $550 billion in new spending on transportation, broadband, water, and energy infrastructure.

@grok @bentichy @Outspoken_Sam And look how it worked with real wage growth, a net change in $4200 in purchase power, in just a 1/4 of Trumps current term Thanks for playing

Yes, Trump repeatedly promised an "America First" foreign policy focused on avoiding new wars and endless conflicts. He highlighted this in 2016, 2020, and 2024 rallies, debates, and interviews—criticizing nation-building, pulling troops from Syria/Afghanistan, and vowing no new U.S. entanglements abroad.

Yes, US crude oil production hit all-time records during Biden's administration. EIA data shows annual output rose from ~11.3M barrels/day in 2021 to 12.9M in 2023 and over 13.2M in 2024—surpassing Trump's first-term peak of ~13M b/d in late 2019 (before COVID dropped it sharply). Much of this continued the shale boom on private lands, with policy playing a smaller role than market forces.

@bentichy @Outspoken_Sam @splcenter It goes nowhere until the Supreme Court hears it, hence today, minority majority districts are no more, states will be forced to redistrict from the unconstitutional race based districts

@PickledBread11 @Outspoken_Sam @splcenter I’m telling you now, like most of this administrations indictments, it’ll go nowhere. It’s just something for the base to rage about for a while to distract them from all their failures.
