Blake is not doing well💔 We’ve tried the ear treatments. We’ve tried the eye treatments. Nothing is resolving it. At this point, we’re very worried this may be something deeper… something neurological. The CT scan suggested by the Opthamologist is how we find out what he’s been living with all this time. He just looks miserable😪 Our cancer warrior Chester's emergency 2 weeks ago drained the emergency fund jar, and we are straining to meet food and medicine budget, let alone another $3000 specialty test. We’re still far from covering it, even with the Cash Match. The sedated CT Scan is ~$3000, and we are far short of our target. We need to get to $1500 for our Match to be applied. We are still at $218, which x2 is $436. A long way to go... If you are able to contribute for Blakey Blake from the Drain to get answers, it would be an amazing blessing for him. 💞🙏

Garage Sale Match 💸 Blake hasn’t been himself for a while… recurring ear infections and ongoing eye irritation. We knew something wasn’t right. His eyes leak like he’s crying. We were referred to an ophthalmologist, who found his pupils are enlarged (as you can see) and not responding properly, which is very concerning. This could be inflammation… or something affecting the nerves between his eyes, inner ears, and brain. We’ve tried treatment, including steroids, but nothing has resolved it. The next step is a CT scan with sedation (around $3,000) to understand what’s going on. The hard part is, we just don’t have those funds right now. Our cancer fighter Leo’s unexpected cardiology visit at St. Francis last week used up what little cushion we had. And Blake can’t wait. He’s uncomfortable. After being blindsided by cancer twice, we don’t ignore words like “possible issue involving the brain.” So this little “Garage Sale Jar” is our way of putting something together to help Blake. A very kind friend has offered to MATCH what comes in, dollar for dollar, up to $1,500… which gives this a real chance to go further. We want to thank you for the love you have shown our beautiful Nirrti but today we had to let her go and be with her sister Kali. She went peacefully and quickly to sleep held by us both and being told how much she was loved. We will miss you darling girl 💔💔💔🌈🤍🖤🧡

Nicodemus is a fighter! Just 20 days ago, he suffered horrible burns stuck in a hot car engine. Today, this sweet purr machine is healing extraordinarily well. His fur is growing back and he'll be ready soon for a foster/adopter. Thought to be 5-6 y/o. FIV+. Sweet and calm. @gandolf_s 📍Atlanta, but will transport. For all he's suffered, and barely escaped euth, he's a loving appreciative boy. 😽 Please consider giving him the lap he deserves. Show him around here, won't you?🙏
