@PicksWire @Shane00 None of these are similar to what Allen did. Allen already had full possession when he made the gather step The other gather steps were made almost in unison with a dribble, which allows another dribble or a shot attempt. The gather step had changed now though. Which I hate

@Shane00 You're still not getting the change. You're telling me the role now, which I understand. Players were not always given an infinite amount of steps to 'pick up the ball'. You were forced to gather and pick up the dribble within the first step after the last dribble.
