At Pinewood we are learning about the values in #Vision2030 and our grade 5s have been thinking about how to show compassion.

Kindness is a focus for us this yr: What does it look like? Sound like? Feel like? We made a quilt of ideas with our K friends, and challenged others to add to it. A Little Spot of Kindness, and our own “spots”, have been reminding us to look for opportunities to be kind. #sd37

Today we read “How are You Peeling” and then used loose parts from the forest floor to create a variety of different emotions. Surprise, anger, happiness and sadness are pictured here. #sd37
