Got one of the nicest YouTube comments yesterday on this video that said "THANK YOU for sharing your dvc dissertation" and "you are a HERO for providing this and other resources for others" 😭😳🥹 youtu.be/Uc96UgQDFHE

@krash9924 Well, you can’t really oversell DVC. There’s a set amount of points. It’s not like they’re adding points out of nowhere. But yeah understood/agree generally, I just dont know (doubt) that even canceling those will magically make booking noticeably easier.

@PixieDustPhD Disney oversold DVC, not enough rooms to meet the demand and a lot of owners have been very vocal about not being able to book the rooms they want. Disney is specifically targeting the companies who own hundreds to thousands of contracts.

I’m so curious what the scale of this problem is. How many memberships / vacation points / bookings are we talking? The additional parameters and penalties seem reasonable. I’m wondering if us normies will see an impact if/when commercial use decreases.

Overheards are good fun but honestly I found it disheartening how many parents were saying kind of awful things to their kids. I’m sure the parents still love their kids, but I don’t know if they realize how literal quips like “we’re gonna put you up for adoption” can be taken 🥺

@bluekittygrl Use year. Though if you only needed say a couple of points to top off multiple trips in a given year, you can buy OTUP multiple times in a use year. Just not more than 24 total.

$22.50/point now, up from $20. I mean since it’s only 24 points max per contract, the extra $60 is not really a huge difference. A bummer but uhhh yeah I’ll still buy them. Would still rather this than buy a small contract and be locked into more annual dues.

Hoppers was soooo good! Extremely fun but also thoughtful and touching. A solid 9/10 from both myself and my partner.

@ThemeParkBar The hotel prices can be a bit tough, but otherwise the price:quality ratio is usually super worth it. Plus many places have happy hour!

I just looked up a fancy rooftop bar in midtown serving up some incredible sounding craft cocktails that are $2 more than a basic rum and coke in CityWalk

As someone whose primary source of entertainment is theme parks I'm finding pricing out a visit to NYC to be not so daunting.
