@TomDoesArt8 That's what I was leaning towards, and then a check if the player isn't moving to set walkable angle very low to initiate a slide, put it back up high once the player starts controlling again.

@Play_Ruff Line trace down from character and use the normal direction to estimate the angle. Then you should be able to do some comparison between that and your players velocity to decide if you want slow or fast.

Hey devs, I'm trying to put together a slope/ramp system for a player character. If traveling up - go slower If traveling down - go faster If standing still - slide down slope Anyone know a tutorial to get this done?

🚨RAT UPDATE 🚨 pest control have confirmed, they are in the walls. they have eaten through our pipes and are crawling inside the walls and ceilings. we cannot get out. a shadow moves in the dark. We cannot get out... they are coming.

the rats have potentially eaten through our water pipes, because our bathroom is leaking water through the ceilings and flooding the coffee shop beneath us, so maybe the rats do really run this city ✌🐀

so, fun little update: our apartment building has rats inside our walls!!! 🙃 for the past week I've been hearing loud scratching and scurrying noises, and today squeaking behind our bathroom wall.

@NotSoLittleC Sure you can! It's a neat trick, I've done the same for spider swarms in UE4. Granted my spider model is a lot more basic😅 I can send you a link how to learn this kinda thing if you want it ^^
