[@PoliGSim] - Effective immediately, I'll be working to sign a legislative bill that signs in Georgia will be joining the Medicaid Expansion. Georgian's need better healthcare-- not insurance companies that are exploiting our people!

I am, for that reason, encouraging all my fellow Democrats to begin the work. This is a map of states which adopted Mediacaid Expansion. Towards the end of last year. I will be adding Maine to that list shortly. If your state is in yellow, start the work immediately.

(@PoliGSim) For far too long Oregons workers have gone underpaid and poorly treated. That's why today I signed the Fair Wages Act. This raises the minimum wage in the Portland metro to 16/h, other urban areas to 15/h, and the rest of the state to 13.50/h.

As DGA chair, I want to highlight the very issue of the states themselves. Before I was governor, I spent some time in Congress. Without the people of D.c., we would have collapsed. The states have the power to call to amend the Constitution to give them statehood. We should.
