@burner_dubs It's just not that simple. These dudes & their agents are getting interests/calls if they're in the portal or not. That's not Stevenson-specific, it's just the reality of this day and age. I think his local connections play a role but that doesn't mean he isn't listening.

@PostMaloneUNC You’re assuming he is looking to leave. He’s from the area. I would be shocked if he left

I'm glad that Malone & co. are swinging big — because that's what you should be doing at UNC — but I think you have to find a way to get Dixon or Stevenson back. With Veesaar's future TBD, I think there's value in some continuity. Don't love letting everyone walk. Just my take.

@burner_dubs Not yet. With the right offer that won't take long. Just for what it's worth, he didn't enter the portal until two weeks after it opened last season.

@itschrixtian10 Definitely don't disagree w/ the Dixon take but I think there's value in a returning guard who had to basically jump into a starting PG spot — which isn't even likely his primary college position. Hit some really big shots too. He's been there, done that.

@coach_jones51 But the longer it goes without an announcement, the less likely it seems that they'll stay. Dixon is with the AZ staff today. Stevenson is getting major interest elsewhere. Just feels like they aren't much of a priority. Staff knows better than me, obviously, but hate to see it.
