@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl You'd expect that of the anglo ruling class, not surprising. The small number of native Irish were from mainly rural communities, they fought for a few shillings. And none of this helps your attempt to minimise the barbarism of the British in Ireland.

@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl Granted few use the prefix today, bar loyal ulster, interestingly they were the least likely to join. Not sure what that has to do with British barbarism in Ireland.

@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl The facts dont suit that narrative. The British have been terrorising the Irish for 100s of years, they have the blood of millions on their hands.

A group of entitled champagne socialists went to Cuba to “deliver aid.” The group included Hasan Piker (wearing $1,380 Cartier glasses) and pro-CCP, pro-Kremlin Code Pink activists. They flew in first class, stayed at a five-star hotel, and partied all night while most Cubans had no electricity. They probably ate more food than they delivered.

Ireland's president came to the German embassy to offer condolences for Hitler's death. Ireland sent a letter of condolences on the death of mass killer Khamenei. Creating "apartheid free zones" that boycott products of the Jewish lane is part of the same pattern.

In the year of 1815, two Irishmen became national heros. Arthur Wellesley the first Duke of Wellington born 1769, in Dublin to an Anglo Irish family. Defeated Napoleon to be hailed as a national hero, to eventually become 2× prime minister. In the same year Andrew Jackson, conceived in Carrickfergus to be born in the 13 Colonies from scot irish parents, defeated the British in the battle of New Orleans in the war of 1812, to become the 7th president of the United States.

@27Tawnyowl Jesus Christ the man has died, the IRA remain undefeated and the war is over ffs. Let it go. Martin left Ireland a better place for us all. We have relative peace but people like you keep harping back to the past. What do you hope to achieve by crying about the Ra from 50 yrs ago
