@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl You'd expect that of the anglo ruling class, not surprising. The small number of native Irish were from mainly rural communities, they fought for a few shillings.
And none of this helps your attempt to minimise the barbarism of the British in Ireland.

Year by bloody year, the carnage McGuinness's IRA inflicted dailymail.co.uk/~/article-4336…

@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl Granted few use the prefix today, bar loyal ulster, interestingly they were the least likely to join. Not sure what that has to do with British barbarism in Ireland.
English

@ui_sinead @27Tawnyowl To quote another poster 40 percent of Wellingtons army was Irish.
English

@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl The facts dont suit that narrative. The British have been terrorising the Irish for 100s of years, they have the blood of millions on their hands.
English

@P_Kallioniemi @simonmontefiore I really wish we could ignore them . They get too much notice which is what they want

A group of entitled champagne socialists went to Cuba to “deliver aid.”
The group included Hasan Piker (wearing $1,380 Cartier glasses) and pro-CCP, pro-Kremlin Code Pink activists. They flew in first class, stayed at a five-star hotel, and partied all night while most Cubans had no electricity.
They probably ate more food than they delivered.

@NiallHarbison Niall I hope you are feeling better . You brighten up our days and we think the world of you and your wonderful work
English

@ui_sinead @27Tawnyowl The IRA had the temerity to say they spoke for Ireland. No they didn’t. Jean Mc conville Birmingham and Guildford eniskellen Paul Quinn the list of atrocities against innocent civilians go on an on
English

@PowerMumbo @27Tawnyowl The IRA could never outdo the British bloodshed in Ireland.

@RabbiPoupko You idiot.
Israel is acting like Hitler by invading a sovereign country (Iran.)
English

@RabbiPoupko Your comments are so unhelpful and not correct. This woman does not represent us.

@darrenleckey Oh I don’t think wellington liked his Irish birth place. And he didn’t defeat Napoleon - they had a lot of allies

In the year of 1815, two Irishmen became national heros.
Arthur Wellesley the first Duke of Wellington born 1769, in Dublin to an Anglo Irish family. Defeated Napoleon to be hailed as a national hero, to eventually become 2× prime minister.
In the same year Andrew Jackson, conceived in Carrickfergus to be born in the 13 Colonies from scot irish parents, defeated the British in the battle of New Orleans in the war of 1812, to become the 7th president of the United States.

@Hepworthclare Yep very irritating the way these journalists don’t listen so they repeat the question . More interested in themselves
English

@Everton @thatpower I think Mary Lou SF has blocked me . They can’t take the truth
English

@Alex732086931 @27Tawnyowl He and his band of men and women did not leave this island in a better place. NO WAY. It has left bitterness and hatred and division.
English

@27Tawnyowl Jesus Christ the man has died, the IRA remain undefeated and the war is over ffs. Let it go. Martin left Ireland a better place for us all. We have relative peace but people like you keep harping back to the past. What do you hope to achieve by crying about the Ra from 50 yrs ago
English

@ui_sinead @27Tawnyowl And the IRA added to the murder and bloodshed and out did it
English

@27Tawnyowl Year after bloody year, the carnage the British brought to our island, deliberate targeting of innocent civilians, for being Irish, and thats just from 1970, dont get me started on the rest. Hang your head in shame.

@MrVirtueSignal @BScotTanner Any chance we can avoid hearing about this band?

KNEECAP had a single that reached #13 in the Irish charts.
That doesn't give them permission to speak on behalf of Ireland about "solidarity" with a regime, especially one that doesn't permit free elections.
Novara Media@novaramedia
"Irish and Cuban solidarity is something that goes back a long time." @KNEECAPCEOL speak in Cuba as part of the Nuestra América Convoy.
