@linny456 @hasumpstuffedup If they got the umpire to make a judgment call on whether a player was deliberately letting themselves be tackled, or were just being tackled over the line, it would be infinitely worse.

Lot of discussion on this Ump got it right. As he is tackled/pushed over the line, it can't be viewed as a deliberate rushed behind Which means the "time and space" clause doesn't even come into it It's similar to being tackled with prior over the boundary for a throw in

Feels like there are basically two AFL divisions right now - the top 12, and then the bottom six of Carlton, Essendon, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Richmond and West Coast. Division 1 is currently 7-0 against Division 2 with an average margin of 66 points.

@PaulZauch My biggest issue with Sweet is that he has the occasional stinker - and when that happens, we inevitably lose. And by occasional, probably one in five games.

@Addyant23 @Dan20207340 Yup that's a fair assessment of his game - and his career. The good makes you realise how much potential he has, and then he will lace out an oppo player under no pressure.

@Dan20207340 I thought Evans had a see-saw game. He was good in patches and bad in others. I guess the issue we currently have as a whole squad is to put a consistent display and fair to see we haven't seen one yet this year.

@DavesLlama Even a segment to show Aliir with two little push outs. I can think of many defenders that have been doing this their whole career and they never really pinpoint one like they've targeted Aliir today.

The commentary here is so heavily Richmond centric, it's ridiculous. You'd think they're winning, but their opposition has nearly double the points they have. Calling out pushes that every team does etc.. This is cheerleading, not commentary. #AFLTigersPower

We've got no bail out kick - really need a target up the ground for that pack mark and contest. This is where Sweet needs to massively improve his game. Even if he's not marking it, he needs to be the bail out option that brings the ball to ground. #weareportadelaide

@PaulZauch To be fair, I think "turned the game" was a bit of an exaggeration. Crazy good mark (debatable whether should have been paid), long bomb from outside 50 and one well worked goal. Commentators gee-ing them up more than reality. Our intensity also fell which didn't help.

What has happened to Miles Bergman. Looked like a revelation. Maybe lack of consistency in role? Maybe really wanted to leave when he signed for 2 and it couldn’t get through. Looks a shell of what he was.
