@markbeastall Hi Mark, NHS patients are not put to the bottom of the list. Private patients pay to be seen more quickly, but that doesn’t affect the order or priority of NHS appointments. Please feel free to private message your details and I can pass them to the right team. Thank you.

@PracticePlusGrp Tried that several times and never got a call back. I’ve got an initial appointment now (albeit in 7 weeks time) so I might get seen for an operation before the summer of 2026. Can I ask why NHS patients are put to the bottom of the list? Presume there’s just no profit in it?

@PracticePlusGrp it says on the website operations offered between 4-6 weeks. I’ll presume that is only if you are private because as an NHS referral, I was spoke to like something you find at the bottom of your shoe, put back 3 months and now nobody will return my calls.
