Seed depth variations are common across the planter row units and usually translates to non-uniform crop emergence. We highly recommend using 4x4 blocks or a tool like SET-N-SEED mentioned in this video for properly setting seeding depth on planters!! #plant26 @AuburnAg

Watched Dr. Simer Virk's (@PrecAgEngineer) drone spreader talk (starts at 1:24:00; facebook.com/share/p/17zHZN…). I always struggle with DJI calibration when spreading small amounts/ac, so I made a calibration curve. Turns out, DJI incorrectly assumes the flow starts at zero. #PrecisionAg

It was a good week for one of our most extensive drone drift studies. Three full days of field testing with 70+ samplers, 0.5 m sampling resolution & 10 replications per treatment. Great team work. Looking forward to similar evaluations with other drones, parameters & products!!
