"Knowledge work will vanish" is the pessimistic case. The optimistic case is "Knowledge workers who master AI in their field will rise." Framing my thinking this way has helped motivate and direct how we build amid the dueling amazingness and uncertainty of AI.

@acfreedmanlaw Percentages can be situation dependent but would definitely advise any manager to push for a sunset clause regardless of the stage of the artist’s career. Mgmt should always be working on long term growth and projects that don’t launch for 1-2 years. Secure payment for those.

What do you think is fair commission for an artist manager? 20%? What if a manger spent years helping build you from nothing - does he or she deserve some post-term commission after you leave? For how long? I'm curious because people have VERY different opinions on this

I play in a competitive men's volleyball league of 6 teams, and our team has been solidly in 4th and 5th place all season. Last night we had the first 2 rounds of playoffs. We beat the undefeated 1st place team and landed ourselves in the gold medal match for next week!

I can actually remember the relief I felt as a kid when I learned that being an adult isn’t like a Pokemon evolution. Like... you don’t transform into a different, boring creature totally foreign to little-you. A lot of people MAKE themselves boring. But that part is optional 😜
