Dear women, Pls know this…Men are naturally wired to offer solutions.. You: “Headache dey worry me since morning” before u finish ur sentence, your husband’s immediate response may be… “u don take paracetamol”? He’s not trying to dismiss your feelings, or stop u from expressing ursef. He cares a lot, and would hate to see u in pain, so he’s immediately looking to know if you’ve taken PCM, so that he can offer other ideas, or perhaps take u to the hospital. That’s how we are wired, we care, we just don’t like to sulk in the moment…we’ve got a lot of things running through our minds. So rather than judging him as being dismissive, appreciate his efforts and try to see things from his Perspective. Be sure however that he’s someone that truly cares, not an actual nonchalant guy.
