The influence of his opinion is much deeper than it appears on the surface. In his mind, Coach C is the best coach out there. He thinks Bama will want to go after him at some point and he wants it to be cheaper. I don’t believe he’s leaving, but if you had any hope that he might, you would argue the point of not extending his current contract for that purpose. Just a thought.
