Founded in 2004, #IDAHOBIT reminds us that there is still a long way to go until  all LGBTQ+ people are free and safe from harm. Hate crimes against members of the LGBTQ+ community in the UK have risen by 112% in the last 5 years. This is unacceptable.

🌈✨ Today we celebrate IDAHOBIT – the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. This day is a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for equality and acceptance for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. 🏳️‍🌈

Pride in Trafford has returned for its sixth year running for its exploration and celebration of LGBTQ+ arts in and around its venue. That's TV spoke to @TraffordCouncil leader Tom Ross and @PrideTrafford producer Darren Adams who expressed their concerns over hate crime rising yearly in the area.
