Labour doesn’t seem to realise that offering failed asylum seekers £40,000 to leave creates a £40,000 incentive to come to Britain to be a failed asylum seeker

Today the energy price cap has dropped by £117. We said we’d bring energy bills down - we meant it.

Don’t apologise Jim Radcliffe- you spoke the truth. Many MILLIONS have come here in just the last 6 years. This isn’t controlled and positive immigration… it’s national suicide.

@Keir_Starmer Not reading the room & dealing with the big ticket items - Illegal Immigration & Energy - all swept under the carpet & a direct answer never given. Hard working people pay most taxes, giving it away to many (not all) who can’t be bothered.

I know people are frustrated about the pace of change. I am too. Getting our country back on track will take time, but despite the chaos we inherited, we're making progress. Wages are rising faster than prices. Waiting lists are down. Inflation and interest rates are falling. This year, Britain will turn the corner, and you will start to feel the change we promised – in your bills, in your community and in your public services.

Labour say they’ve helped you with the cost of living. But their political choices mean: Food shop UP £300 📈 Rent UP £700 📈 Energy bills UP £200 📈 Taxes UP ££££ 📈 Don’t believe their £150 energy bill con. They are a walking talking cost of living crisis.

We are building a fairer economy by: Cutting the cost of living with cheaper energy bills, frozen rail fares and prescription fees. Investing in the NHS to drive growth. Tackling the scourge of child poverty by removing the two child limit. Making sure the revenue raised through taxes is fair, with everyone contributing, but those with the broadest shoulders contributing more. These choices will create a more stable future for our country.

The Budget delivers £150 in energy bill savings for every household. An expanded Warm Homes Discount will provide a further £150 to 6 million households. This Labour Government is taking decisive action to ease the cost of living.
